WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR SIGNING UP FOR A MERCHANT ACCOUNT WITH COCARD/US PROCESSING NETWORK?

 

WE PREFER TO BE ABLE TO MEET WITH OUR POTENTIAL CLIENTS IN PERSON TO GO OVER THE APPLICATION PAPERWORK AND IF THAT IS NOT POSSIBLE, AT LEAST SCHEDULE A PHONE CONFERENCE AT THE VERY LEAST.

 

HOW LONG IS THE CONVERSION PROCESS WITH COCARD/US PROCESSING NETWORK?

 

ONCE THE APPLICATION PAPERWORK IS FILLED OUT ACCURATELY AND SIGNED IT GENERALLY TAKES LESS THAN 24 HOURS TO GET AN ACCOUNT APPROVED. THIS CAN VARY SOMETIMES DEPENDING ON THE APPLICANT’S CREDIT HISTORY.

 

WHAT IF MY CREDIT HISTORY IS LESS THAN PERFECT?

 

WE CAN GET APPROVALS FOR MERCHANTS THAT HAVE LOWER CREDIT SCORES THOUGH THE PROCESS MAY REQUIRE SOME ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTATION. A LOWER CREDIT SCORE DOES NOT HOWEVER, AFFECT THE FEES THAT ARE BEING CHARGED TO THE MERCHANT AS THERE IS NO SURCHARGE BECAUSE OF CREDIT HISTORY.

 

 

HOW DO I GET PAID WHEN I AGREE TO BECOME A COCARD/US PROCESSING NETWORK MERCHANT?

 

WE HAVE SEVERAL FUNDING SCHEDULES IN PLACE INCLUDING NEXT DAY FUNDING IF CERTAIN PARAMETERS ARE MET. TYPICALLY, OUR CLIENTS CAN RELY ON RECEIVING THEIR MONIES WITHIN TWO BUSINESS DAYS.

 

DOES COCARD/US PROCESSING NETWORK PROCESS AMERICAN EXPRESS?

 

YES, WE DO SET UP MERCHANTS THAT REQUEST AMEX TO BE ABLE TO PROCESS AMERICAN EXPRESS CARDS. WE HAVE TWO OPTIONS FOR AMEX PROCESSING AS WELL. ONE IS CALLED AMEX ONE POINT WHERE WE ACTUALLY FUND THE AMEX TRANSACTIONS ALONG WITH THE VISA, MASTERCARD, AND DISCOVER, SO THIS SIMPLIFIES BANK RECONCILIATIONS SIGNIFICANTLY. THE OTHER IS SETTING UP A DIRECT AMEX ACCOUNT WITH AMERICAN EXPRESS WHERE AMEX PAYS THE MERCHANT DIRECTLY IN A SEPARATE DEPOSIT.

 

DOES COCARD/US PROCESSING NETWORK OFFER EQUIPMENT SOLUTIONS AND SALES?

 

YES. WE OFFER EQUIPMENT SALES TO OUR CLIENTS FOR OUR PURCHASE COSTS, WE DO NOT TREAT EQUIPMENT SALES AS A PROFIT CENTER IN OUR BUSINESS MODEL. WE ALSO HAVE LEASING AND RENTAL OPTIONS AVAILABLE TO OUR CLIENTS AS WELL.
